To quote some of Martin Luther King’s eternal words, “I have a dream.”
I realize that I often have dreams at bedtime, but generally forget about the skeleton when I wake up and get out of bed. This is completely clear, and it is about poker. It moved me.
It wasn’t until 4 a.m. I decided to get out of bed, and, while wearing my pajamas, take a note of it before I go back to sleep – and, furthermore, possibly not remembering it, as well as a truly special dream of visiting an BAMBUQQ.
It’s a Texas hold’em game. I don’t know the stakes or which casino it is. (Probably, it’s at Larry Flynt’s Hustler Casino in Gardena, California, my favorite place to play games.)
In my dream I’ve lost up to that point. Next to this hand there is a “sudden” – an unexpected moment. The type you only dream of. At Big Blind, I was given a Q-2 exchange. Obviously, I would have folded without any hesitation, but no preflop wage increase. So I have to see it doesn’t work for free. Several others limped in.
Unsuccessful is the rainbow Q-2-3. I’ve caught two couples, Queen-and-deuce. It must be happy to see; but still, it was a pretty delicate hand. An enemy can easily catch a card that will make my two pairs become the 2nd best.
